Happy New Year!!!!

A new year has begun and comes along a new hope
The year 2012 is now to elope
It will soon disappear and become a past
Somehow it came to an end pretty fast

Time is known for flying off anyways
Its as quick as the turning of Fridays to Mondays
A year went and a year came
Wishing wells getting requests for prosperity and fame

But as always, I dont know what to ask for
Should I ask for Nepal or should I try asking for B'lore
And yet again, I stand here not knowing what to decide
A solution to my problems, who can provide

I think this year too I will just embrace what comes along
I am sure it will put me to where I belong
Not sure if am trying to frame my life or its framing me
Its all a package of the new year which together we'll see :)

Krits called me one fine day,
There was something she had to say.
Had she made a choice of her life?
Was she soon to be someone's wife?
Oh yes yes yes, it was all true
And suddenly,I dint know what to do!
Someone had just become so important to her,
Someone she wanted to live with for ever.
So now we started waiting for the day when we could meet the special one
Will he be boring, or was he going to be fun?
Too many questions and many more expectations around
But to be patient, we were all bound.
And then came the day when they were to be engaged,
In their right places, now everything was placed.
So we went with excitement inside us,
Travelled in taxi, train and in bus
And there it was, the Perfect couple, as we could say.
Wish them all the happiness in the world if I may!
They sang with and for one another,
Happily flaunting their love standing there together.
Eyes filled with love and a heart which is kind
So much care and love is something very hard to find,
And seeing the both you together brings happiness to all our minds!

Mixed Emotions

Came a day when i realized my family needed me more
A difficult choice to make had come to my door
A career well settled and friends all around
Or the satisfaction of having my family around

Cant i have both without sacrificing the other?
Losing any of them  had suddenly come to bother
I have found families in my friends here
They gave me love, trust and a lot of care
And now is the time to say goodbye to all
Come to think of it, my court never really had the ball

The love and care that i have received from you
When I say it cant be paid back, trust me its True
I thank you all for everything you have done for me
I wish we were atleast in the same country ;)
But fate played its game and now its time to go

The life of an engineer
Who knew that it wud b filled with fear
A stand up meeting makes my heart skip a beat
And a ping from the client makes me jump in my seat

My manager calls me to ask if i have given my certification
