A stand up meeting makes my heart skip a beat
And a ping from the client makes me jump in my seat
The life of an engineer
Who thought would be filled with fear
Work is piled upon one after the other
Try protesting, oh no, don't even bother
My manager calls me to ask if i have given my certification
Oh yes, took it the last time i was on a vacation
To throw a sarcasm expecting him to understand
But he throws it back at me with his evil wand
He wants this done and that
And I don't even understand when and what
